History
Sorensen Software began as a one-man operation, performing web development jobs for small businesses in the central Texas area. It has since grown into servicing a wide range of national locations by performing offsite projects through telecommunication services. We began professionally servicing companies in the spring of 1998. We have progressively expanded our products and services; have built firm associations with many clients, as well as performing an impressive list of contracts. We believe that it is our professionalism, attention to detail, and requirement of excellence that has gained our customers approval and resulted in returning customer business.
Founder
Sorensen Software was founded by Leif A. Sorensen. Leif has experience in managerial positions, and has worked as a project manager, researcher, web master, network/system administrator, mentor, and teacher. He has been working with computers since the late 1980s. He started building personal web sites while he studied for a degree in business management. His passion for computers led him to return to school to study computer science. After obtaining his degree he continued performing contract work for local companies. He still serves as our President & CEO.

Over the last few years we have established an impressive list of clientele. Some of the fields, which we have and do service, include categories such as legal, health & medical, engineering, statistical consulting, education, higher education, Independent School Districts and other small businesses. As our business and experience have expanded we have paved the way to support even more types of companies.

Sales Associate
We are looking for self-motivated sales representatives through out the United
States and Europe who can perform sales/marketing management of an assigned
region in order to maintain and enhance current customer base while prospecting
new business opportunities. This entails calling on qualified retail accounts
(i.e., both new and established high-end retail gift stores), conducting
on site sales promotions and demonstrations, finalizing sales from leads,
and acting as a liaison for the retail accounts developed.
Applicants should have experience in direct selling or marketing, an understanding of web sites or computer program development, and the ability to follow up on and develop leads and contacts within their sales territory, as well as work with pre-existing customers.
The position begins as an independent sales representative commission
contract with pro-rated sales bonuses. After the initial probationary period
is completed review of performance will be performed for consideration of
movement to salary + commission. This positions commission rates are designed
to be competitive to true industry standards. Serious sales professionals
will be more then pleased with the employee appreciation incentives and bi-annual
performance bonuses. Qualified candidates are not required to exclusively
represent Sorensen Software, as long as there is no conflict of interest
in the other products/companies which they represent. Those located in the
southern, western, and non-continental United States are encouraged to apply.
